Small group lessons for children from aged 3 and half years including girls only and women only adult lessons take place at Sir John Cass Secondary School.
The swimming pool re-opened in November 2011 after £100k total refurbishment including re tiling of the pool and surrounding areas, new boilers and upgraded of the plant room.
As the Love to Swim Scheme incorporates the ASA Learn to Swim Pathway there is a clear pathway for progression. Children will not be recommended to move up a class until they have achieved the standards, this is important has children may lose confidence if they are put into a higher group and cannot complete the tasks.
Adult swimming lessons are currently split into beginner and improver classes including women only.
