Celebrating 15 Years of Love to Swim at the Crowne Plaza London Docklands

This summer marks an incredible milestone for Love to Swim — 15 years of teaching swimming lessons in East London and helping thousands of children and adults learn to Love to Swim. We were thrilled to celebrate this achievement at our long-time home, the Crowne Plaza London Docklands Hotel, where it all began.

A Night to Remember

Our 15th anniversary celebration brought together friends, families, swimmers past and present, and members of the local community. Guests enjoyed an inspiring evening of reflection, celebration, and giving back.

The highlight of the night was hearing from Ann Daniels, world-renowned polar explorer and motivational speaker, who shared her powerful story of resilience and breaking boundaries — perfectly echoing the spirit of what we aim to inspire through swimming.

Supporting a Worthy Cause

Thanks to the generosity of our community, we raised over £2,000 for Bliss, the UK charity dedicated to supporting babies born premature or sick and their families. Supporting Bliss was a natural choice for us, as many of our families have benefitted from their incredible work.

15 Years of Making Waves

Since 2010, Love to Swim has grown from a small swim school to a trusted provider of children’s swimming lessons in East London, as well as female-only swimming lessons, adult beginners' classes, and inclusive programmes for children with autism and additional needs.

Female-only swimming lessons in Tower Hamlets with Swim England-certified instructors

Private swimming lessons for beginners and nervous adults

Autism-friendly swimming classes with small group sizes

Through our lessons, events, and partnerships, we remain committed to making swimming accessible, inclusive, and enjoyable for all.
