Thank you for joining the Love to Swim Scheme – this is your first step towards learning a skill that will last you a lifetime.
To ensure all our customers are treated fairly and safely, it is important that the following terms and conditions are adhered to.
Places cannot be reserved without payment, which must be made at the time of booking.
The course fee is valid for the duration of the lessons only. Use of the facilities either before or after is not permitted unless you are a paid-up member or resident.
The course fee is not refundable. However, in exceptional circumstances, an application can be made to the Love to Swim coordinator in writing, supported by a doctor’s note. Nor is it possible to reschedule your lesson, and if you miss a lesson, unfortunately, the session will be lost.
Outdoor shoes are not permitted in the pool, poolside, or adjacent areas. Outdoor shoes must be removed or covered with blue overshoes if provided by the venue. Flip-flops or similar may be brought to the venue specifically for poolside use.
Drinks, food, or sweets are not to be consumed or taken into the pool, poolside, or adjacent areas. Parents can view lessons from the dedicated viewing area only.
For the safety of themselves and others, jewellery must not be worn during lessons. Swimming hats should be worn for the purpose of safety and hygiene.
Occasionally, it may be necessary to postpone lessons at short notice. To compensate the customer, where possible, the lesson will be rescheduled. Love to Swim is under no obligation to refund or transfer your money if you are unable to attend a lesson.
As part of our commitment to child safeguarding, the taking of photographs and videoing is strictly prohibited.
All children who are not fully toilet trained must wear a double nappy system – a disposable swim nappy under a well-fitting neoprene swim nappy. This is essential to ensure pool hygiene and the safety of all swimmers.
Failure to comply with this policy may result in your child being removed from the programme without refund. In cases where a child has an accident in the pool and the double nappy policy was not followed, Love to Swim reserves the right to terminate the child’s place with immediate effect, and no refunds will be issued for any remaining lessons.
This is to prevent repeat incidents which can result in pool closures, cancelled sessions for other families, and significant financial and operational disruption.
The decision of the Love to Swim Coordinator will be final in all aspects relating to the Love to Swim Scheme.
