Our long-standing partnership with Stepney All Saints School is central to Love to Swim’s community work in Tower Hamlets.
The venue hosts a range of small-group swimming programmes, including children’s lessons, female-only swimming and our specialist Autism Swim programme.
It is also home to our Swimming Teacher Training Pathway, which supports aspiring swimming teachers to gain recognised qualifications, practical experience and mentoring.
Lessons are delivered by qualified swimming teachers, with programmes adapted to the needs of each group and a strong focus on confidence, progression and water safety.
Free parking is available for Love to Swim customers in the teacher car park.

FEMALE-ONLY SWIMMING LESSONS
Supportive swimming lessons for women and girls
Our female-only swimming lessons provide a welcoming environment for women and girls who prefer to swim with female teachers and without male spectators.
These sessions are suitable for a range of cultural, religious and personal preferences, with modest swimwear welcomed.
Lessons focus on building water confidence, improving swimming technique and developing fitness at a comfortable pace. They are suitable for both beginners and improvers, with small-group teaching and individual support throughout.
Our female-only swimming lessons are led by qualified female swimming teachers and are designed to help participants feel comfortable, supported and confident in the water.

Adult Swimming Lessons

Our adult swimming lessons are designed for complete beginners, nervous swimmers and improvers who want to build confidence and develop stronger swimming skills.
We keep class sizes small so each swimmer receives focused support and individual feedback from a qualified swimming teacher.
Lessons can help you improve water confidence, breathing, stroke technique, coordination and overall swimming ability at a pace that suits you.

Our children’s swimming lessons help swimmers build confidence, develop strong swimming skills and progress at their own pace in a supportive, structured environment.
Lessons follow the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme, with swimmers placed in classes according to their ability and stage of development.
We keep our classes deliberately small so teachers can give each swimmer more individual attention, feedback and support. Lessons combine skill development, water confidence and swimming technique, helping children become safer and more confident in the water.
Whether your child is taking their first independent swimming lessons or progressing through the Swim England stages, our aim is to provide clear progression while keeping lessons positive and enjoyable.

AUTISM SWIMMING LESSONS IN EAST LONDON
Specialised, supportive swimming lessons for autistic children
Love to Swim provides small-group Autism swimming lessons for children in East London, with classes at Stepney All Saints in Tower Hamlets and Crowne Plaza London Docklands in Newham.
Our lessons provide a structured, supportive environment where swimmers can develop water confidence, swimming skills and independence at their own pace. Teaching is adapted to each swimmer's individual needs, communication style, confidence and ability.

Our Autism Swim programme follows the Swim England Alpha Steps framework, supporting swimmers to develop confidence, independence and essential swimming skills through achievable, progressive steps.

Adult & Toddler Lessons
Swimming lessons for children aged 2–3 with a parent or carer in the water
Our adult and toddler swimming lessons help young children become comfortable and confident in the water while learning alongside a parent or carer.
Lessons follow the Swim England framework for early years swimming, with a focus on water confidence, safe movement, early swimming skills and familiarity with the pool environment.
A parent or carer joins the child in the water throughout the lesson, helping them feel secure while supporting their early swimming development through simple activities and games.
These sessions provide a positive introduction to swimming and help prepare children for independent lessons when they are ready.

Hi there,
The changing rooms at Stepney All Saints are open plan, there are no cubicle. Nor are there any lockers, however we are the only people that use the pool, there are no spectators or other people swiimming apart our pupils who leave their clothes in the changing room, but bring their valuables on to the poolside.
In terms of the showers, the temperature is set to luke warm and not something we have control over.
Group female lessons: We have a maximum of 11 per class split between 2 teachers so roughly 5:1 ratio. Lessons take place once a week. £20 for a 45mins class. Lessons follow the school term and can be purchased in small blocks of 4, 5 or 6 lessons. Lessons must be taken consecutively.
